Hindu Gods and Godesses

Annapurna- she is the Hindu goddess of food and cooking, and she can supply food to an unlimited amount of people. She is also an incarnation of the Hindu goddess parvati, the wife of Shiva.

Ganesha- he’s also known as the elephant headed god. He became the lord of all existing beings after winning a contest from his brother. Ganesha got her head chopped off by Shiva because he didn’t follow directions, so Shiva made him come to life again and replaced his head with an elephants head because there was no other choice.

Kartikay- is a son of Shiva, and brother of Ganesha. He is the scientist of all the gods. Kartikay rides on a peacock, the killer of serpents.

Virgen of Guadalupe

On the chilly morning of December 9, 1531, Juan Diego crossed the barren hill called Tepeyac to attend Mass. He heard the sound of music. He went to that place and saw a lady standing calling his name. he went to her and the lady told him that she was Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. She told Juan Diego it was her desire to have a church built on Tepeyac hill, and asked him to relay that message to Bishop Juan de Zumarraga. He met the bishop after several tries and told him about his encounter with Virgin Mary. The bishop didn’t agree and asked for proof. Juan Diego avoided Tepeyac for several days, but on December 12, while rushing to find a priest to attend a seriously ill uncle, he took a short cut across the hill. The Virgin once again appeared and Juan Diego told her of the Bishop's request. The Virgin instructed him to pick roses from the usually barren and desolate hill and deliver them to Zumarraga as the sign. Juan Diego gathered up the miraculous blossoms in his mantle and hurried off to complete his mission.

Toy Story 3D

This is about a boy who has good toys and another who has bad toys. Buzz light year is one of the main characters in Toy Story three and he is trying to help save his friends from the bad kid. The kid who has the bad toys uses toys as the way he wants and when he get new toys he tries to blow them up with fireworks. But buzz light year wasn’t going to let his friend fall on bad hands. The movie was good because it makes the toys pop up right in front of my eyes. Since this is my first experience watching a 3d movie I think is really cool of how the toys pop right up in front of you.

The movie characters that I know are Megan fox, Shia Libeof, and John Truturro. There are two groups of robots; auto bots and deceptions. The deceptions were fighting against auto bots for the key of the birth. As the auto bots and decepticons were fighting their world was falling apart. As they fought each side lost a lot of robots, but the deceptions were wining against the auto bots. Also as they were fighting the key of birth was lost in the space. As soon as they become aware of the key they couldn’t. They graze throughout the universe until they found a sign about where it might be. As soon as they find out they sent some who could find the key which was the planet call the earth. One of the auto bots went to recover the key. Sam’s grandfather found one of the deceptions who was the worst of them all and accidentallyhe awoke the deceptions the master of the deceptions. Well, I think the movie was good movie a lot of action and sadness, but best it was good movie. If I could watch the film again I would watch it again.

Our Fall Break

~My name is Antonio and for fall freak I am going to go to the movies to watch toy story 3-D. I am also going to go hang out with my friends. Like going out to eat, going to the mall and having a great time playing FIFA 09 at my friend’s house. And at last I am probably going to go visit my family in Indianapolis. Antonio

~My plans for fall break are a lot. One of them is that I’m moving because my dad bought a house. And the second one is that I’m going to go to the mall to meet my friends or my girl friends (friends that are girls). And the third plan that I have is that I’m just going to chill without having any work to worry about. Daniel

~First, I will go home and sleep. Then after I awake I will go to my big sister’s apartment close to the park. So it’s going to be fun to go during this break, but I will go to baby sitting. I may go to the movie on the weekend’s maybe I don’t know yet, but I will later during the fall break. Victor

~From tomorrow we are going to have Fall Break. I like holidays very much. But this time I am not excited about them .Still I have to do something. Then I am thinking that during this break I am going to enjoy with my family. There are some Indian families in US, then, I will be visiting their house. I am going to do a lot of shopping. I will be watching new Indian movies. I will practice doing my work on laptop. After FALL BREAK I am thinking of eating at the Commons’ Area. Ritu

Student Update: Antonio

Soccer is almost over and we are having a soccer game for district. We made it to third seat in the district and we are practicing real hard so we can win against OHS. We know we are going to win because we know what they are going to do. And I will type you another report next week.
