When he was twelve his family moved to Madison, Wisconsin where he attended Madison high school. Then in Chicago he worked for an architect Joseph Lyman Silsbee. He built very nice buildings he build one that is very famous and it is located in New York, New York called the Guggenheim museum. He also built a floating hotel in Japan called the Meiji Village.
