In Michoacán it has been raining for over a week without stopping. There have been over 20 dead people and the death rate keeps going up. The Mexican president Felipe Calderon has sent Mexican troops to help the people.

Wow! I did not know this was happening! The last time I was there I went to a city in between Michoacan and Jalisco and it was so dry, there was not dirt, just dust. The river was almost gone, and they had to have water delivered to put in their wells. Keep me posted.
